When living in luxury apartments in Houston, you will find yourself surrounded by some of the best restaurants, retail centers, and businesses in town. Choosing a place to eat great sushi shouldn’t be too hard. There are a variety of sushi restaurants and bars located in the Uptown Post Oak area.

Located on Uptown Park Boulevard, Uptown Sushi has an extensive menu of nigiri-zushi and sashimi items such as freshwater and saltwater eel, Yellowfin, Blue Fin, and White tuna, and sea urchin. They also have speciality nigiri-zushi topped with items like mango cheesecake and sundried tomatoes, shiso, sea salt, and raspberry.

If you like the option of either sushi or cooked entrees, you can try Ginza Japanese Restaurant on San Felipe. This small, casual dining restaurant offers sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri-zushi, as well as teriyaki and yakisoba. They are also excellent for groups, offering party size meals such as Omakase for six with multiple rolls.

Kona Grill on Westheimer is part of a chain of sushi and Japanese-style restaurants. They have lunch and dinner menu options that include both cooked entrees and sushi items. They also have a special “skinny” menu that includes low calorie options for the health conscious.
